MW x Small Fry Blog: Summer Must-Haves
To kick things off is our friend Emily from Small Fry Blog, a children's lifestyle blog by three moms who we think have got it going on (in more ways than one)! As moms to all boys, they are full of encouragement, advice, and sometimes a much needed reality check. They have built a wonderful little community who, though spread across the earth, are supporting one another and shedding light on topics such as adoption and Autism. Needless to say, as a mom to my wild little three year old, Ollie, Small Fry gives me oodles of play time ideas. I'd have to say that they are by far my favorite resource for discovering new kids apparel lines which can be found in their "threads" section. Trust me, they will leave you smitten.
"Small Fry is a declaration to ourselves and to our boys that every moment with them is a gift and also a choice. A choice to let the magic of childhood find us, and to look for it in everything we do. That the world is ours and there is adventure around every corner...We’ve been told this season of our lives is fleeting. What if we could say that we soaked it all in, let it envelope us, looked into those big beautiful eyes of our children every morning and said 'let me show you something amazing today.'"
1. American Apparel is a clothing apparel line made in downtown Los Angeles. It is filled with super soft basics that are affordable and perfect for the minimalist wardrobe. Our families all wear AA multiple times a week. Loving their striped tanks! $11.50
2. Winter Water Factory certified organic and made in the USA, they excel at well designed fabrics and comfortable play clothes. We love their rompers!
3. When you hear vegan + perfume in the same sentence, it's not usually a scent I'd pay to smell like. But, Sweet Anthem Perfumes makes incredible vegan perfumes that smell incredible. With all we've learned about formaldehyde, it's sort of scary to use anything else! This Seattle based shop is awesome!
5. The Land of Nod, Crate and Barrel and CB2 sister brands are really good at carrying American made products. This couch for one!
