Quality and Connection | Makers Workshop
There are a few things I wish I would have known when I started Makers Workshop. Mostly, I wish someone would have told me, “You’ll never have it all figured out.” No matter where we are in our process or level of success, we are all still having the same conversation.
How do I do this better?
Whether it’s a conversation about “how do I unplug while being plugged in?” or “do I really need to splurge on high dollar gear?” Maybe it’s “how do you navigate staying at home with your babes while running a full time business?”
There is evolution and revolution and sometimes we just f*ck up. But, that’s where the good stuff happens.
When I look at the future of MW I see photographers, makers, culinary artists, shopkeepers, musicians, and beyond. I see a group of people rooted in their passion to create, compelled by a desire to offer something more sustainable and the will to never settle for less.
We’re trading in picture-perfect for a dose of the real stuff. We’re facilitating connections and sharing the real stories. The pressure is off! We’re taking a positive approach to sharing quality work and building support within the maker community.
